Somewhere over the Rainbow

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Noelle lost her battle with Leukemia yesterday afternoon.

I don't know what else to say.

I am heartbroken for her family.
I am in shock.

I hope you'll take a moment to remember Noelle today. I know she is up there watching us, because just as I got finished sending a note to her family, I saw a huge rainbow out my office window in the middle of Center City Philadelphia.

Thanks for the rainbow, Noelle.

Where has September gone?

Well, we are back from our vacation. Which was FABULOUS, by the way! We hope to have those pictures (or a link to them) up very soon.

But we left at the beginning of September, and here we are at the end... It was very strange to be disconnected from our everyday lives for such a long time!

I know many of you got a fundraising email before we left. I hope you will look into your hearts and your pocketbooks to help support our cause. We need your help to get closer to a cure.

Noelle's blood counts have not improved, so she started the clinical trial medications this week. We have to hope for a miracle now. I am continually amazed by the grace and candor that her parents have shown throughout this entire ordeal. I am not a parent (yet), but I don't know if I would be able to BREATHE through any of this, let alone be as strong as Tonya and Dave are. I am just in awe of them.

Thank you for checking in with our TNT adventures. Sorry I haven't been as prolific with posting; I have alot of stuff going on right now, and it always ends up last on my list. Now that we are back and getting settled, I will be able to tell you plenty of stories about our training adventures this season!

GO TEAM!

The Littlest Angels

This YouTube video was on Noelle's webpage this morning. I think it just about says it all. You can click on our newly installed link to help our search for a cure. Thanks in advance for your kind donation!
